Adorable! I love the quality of light on both carvings. The shiny spots on their heads make me think of bindi, or the crown chakra on statues of the Buddha.
Thank you, Lillian, these are traditional carvings in Vietnam and pretty appealing as they are just full of joy. I ended up on a random visit to a small woodwork factory with the most beautiful carvings, the laughing Buddhas will probably feature soon, but I just loved these cute pigs for a cheerful Wordless Wednesday post!
